Ford New Zealand and Ultimate Motor Group have announced the appointment of Jerry Delaney as dealer principal, effective from late August.
Delaney succeeds Russell Pederson in the role at the Tauranga-based dealership.
He returns to the Ford network after previously spending 14 years with Ford New Zealand, including 11 years as sales director.
Most recently, Delaney served as general manager New Zealand for Inchcape.
Ford New Zealand managing director Annaliese Atina says Delaney’s experience and connection to the Ford brand made him a strong appointment for the dealership.
“We are delighted to welcome Jerry Delaney to the Ultimate Motor Group team,” Atina says.
“Jerry’s passion for the Ford brand and his proven track record in executive leadership will be invaluable as we continue to deliver exceptional service to our customers.”
“His industry expertise ensures a strong future for the dealership.”
Delaney will relocate to Tauranga with his wife, Jo, ahead of taking up the role in late August.
Ultimate Motor Group also acknowledged the contribution of outgoing dealer principal Russell Pederson during his tenure with the business.
