Ineos Automotive has recorded its strongest-ever first half, with global Grenadier orders rising 14.6% year-on-year as demand from both retail buyers and fleet customers continued to grow.
The company says customer orders increased after a record first quarter, with second-quarter sales up 9.3% compared with the same period in 2025, following 20% growth in the opening three months of the year.
Ineos Automotive says its order bank remains driven primarily by retail customers, alongside a growing number of repeat buyers returning for a second Grenadier when their finance agreements end.
Fleet demand is also becoming an increasingly important part of the business, with orders coming from corporate, public sector and emergency service organisations. The company says it has also seen growing interest from defence and security customers across Europe.
Chief commercial officer Mike Whittington says delivering double-digit growth amid challenging market conditions reflects the efforts of the company and its retail network.

“Sustaining double-digit growth is a tough challenge for any automotive business continuing to face the current volatile market conditions. That we’ve achieved our strongest ever first-half is testament to the dogged determination and tireless work of our team and our retail and service partners around the world,” he says.
To support further growth, Ineos Automotive has appointed Sagree Sardien as global sales director. Sardien joined the company on July 1 from Mercedes-Benz, where she held a number of senior regional and global leadership roles over more than 20 years in the automotive industry.
Whittington says Sardien will help drive the company’s global commercial growth strategy and further expand its retail network.
“Sagree is another valuable addition to our senior team as we continue to expand our global footprint,” he says.
Ineos Automotive now has more than 250 sales and service locations worldwide. Its Grenadier Station Wagon and Quartermaster ute are sold in more than 50 markets, including Australia, North America, Europe, Africa, the Middle East, Southeast Asia and China.
